Changmao Biochemical Engineering Company Limited ("The Company") was established in 1992.It is Jiangsu Hi-tech Enterprise,Jiangsu Foreign-invested Advanced Technology Enterprise
and Double-dense Enterprise.It was listed on HK GEM Stock Exchange in 2002,and has experienced rapid progress since then.In 2006 Changmao acquired Changzhou Lanling Pharmaceutical Production Company, Ltd. (Lanling Pharm)and invested 20million to establish Shanghai Changmao Biochemical Engineering Company Limited(Shanghai Changmao).In 2007 it acquired the Shanghai Medical Life Science Research Centre Limited (Shanghaimed CO.,LTD.).With advantage of Production,R&D and Marketing Changmao is taking its strategic step towards group-oriented development mode.
Changmao produces C-4 series organic acids and its salts, including L-malic acid, DL-malic acid, L(+)-tartaric acid, DL-tartaric acid, fumaric acid, aspartame, L-alanine, DL-potassium bitartrate, and cream of tartar. Our annual producton volume exceeds 30,000 tons. Our products are widely used around the world in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries with over 70% of our production exported to Japan, Europe, Australia, the United States and Middle East. We are well respected in international markets and our brand is well recognized by customers.
Changmao considers quality first and foremost and understands that it is the life blood of the company. Our production is made under GMP and all of our products meet the most demanding international quality standards including Food Chemicals Codex, U.S.Pharmacopoeia, and British Pharmacopoeia. We have established our own country鈥檚 national standards of L-malic acid, DL-malic acid, L(+)- tartaric acid, and fumaric acid. Our products are HACCP, Star-K Kosher and HALAL certified, and we have been ISO certified since 1998. Our L(+) tartaric acid, made by our own unique process, has been affirmed GRAS by the FDA in America.
